Sales Manager Asia

ZZA Mozzarella is growing fast – and so will you! As Sales Manager Asia, you are the go-to commercial contact for our customers in countries like Japan, South Korea, Singapore and beyond. Your mission: to make sure our premium mozzarella – made in the Netherlands using an authentic Italian recipe – finds its way into the Asian market.

You’ll make sure our mozzarella ends up exactly where it belongs. That means maintaining customer relationships, spotting new opportunities, keeping a pulse on the market, closing deals, and ensuring smooth order handling in close collaboration with logistics.

You combine commercial drive with strong coordination skills. Together with the team, you’ll keep everything running smoothly – with energy and overview.

What will you do?

Maintain active contact with customers, suppliers and producers
Acquire new customers and expand our markets across Asia
Achieve – and exceed – sales targets
Prepare offers and draw up sales contracts
Gather and analyze market information
Spot discrepancies and resolve them with the appropriate teams
Align with logistics to ensure smooth and timely deliveries
Handle documentation for new customers, suppliers and producers
Perform credit checks to reduce risk
Actively use and maintain our CRM system

Who are you?

You’re commercially minded, quick to act, and you know exactly what to say – and when. You love international trade, have a solution-focused mindset, and a strong sense for timing and relationship-building. You also bring:

At least a bachelor-level degree (HBO or equivalent)
A few years of experience in sales, export or a similar role (preferably in food)
Excellent command of English (other languages are a bonus)
Key skills like persuasiveness, decisiveness, customer focus – and a touch of boldness
Above all: you're a team player who enjoys a positive and supportive workplace atmosphere.

Our story

ZZA Mozzarella is part of Geris, based in Nederweert – a dairy specialist for over 15 years. Since 2022, we’ve been producing premium mozzarella under our own name, crafted in the Netherlands using an authentic Italian recipe. Our product is made for pizzas and pastas, and travels from the Netherlands to food companies all over the world. From our informal and close-knit team in Nederweert, we work every day on our unique mission: we put the ZZA on your pizza!
